Cadence13 Launches Podcast with David Plouffe

On “Campaign HQ,” the former Obama campaign manager, White House advisor, and renowned political strategist, to bring listeners inside the war rooms of the presidential campaigns for an incisive look at the key decisions driving the race to 2020 Biden campaign manager Greg Schultz to be inaugural guest on weekly podcast series

New York, NY (September 12, 2019)—Cadence13, a leading premium podcast company, today announced the launch of Campaign HQ, a weekly podcast hosted by David Plouffe—former Obama campaign manager and White House Senior Advisor, and the architect of  both of Obama’s winning presidential campaigns—on which he will bring listeners inside the war rooms of the presidential campaigns throughout the primaries and into the general election on the road to November 3, 2020.

On the weekly show, Plouffe will offer insight and seasoned analysis on the strategies and decisions driving the Trump re-election efforts and the presidential campaigns of the Democratic challengers.

Campaign HQ will launch on September 19, 2019 on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, www.RADIO.com, and everywhere podcasts are available. New episodes will be available every Thursday. Listen to the trailer and subscribe to the series here: http://bit.ly/CampaignHQPod.

On Campaign HQ, Plouffe will explore all aspects of the campaigns and overall strategies for each candidate, including: messaging—what the candidates are trying to accomplish with messaging and why; how to interpret the polls; why candidates are visiting and certain states or districts; the all-important delegate battle; and how the campaign changes as contenders drop out of the race. And as we head into the general election, go deep into the battleground states , and each campaign’s strategy to win them, that will determine who gets to 270 and becomes our next President.

If a candidate lags in a primary with a demographic group or suffers a delegate setback, Plouffe will help listeners understand why, dig into whether they can recover and why or why not, and outline what that means for their fortunes going forward. He will also offer real-time analysis of debates, primary contests, caucuses, convention nights and other key election events.

Plouffe’s first guest on the September 19 episode of Campaign HQ will be Biden campaign manager Greg Schultz.

“There is a lot of punditry around any Presidential election. Some good, some bad. What I hope to do is bring the practitioners to listeners, both those in the arena right now fighting in this campaign and those who have been in it and won recently, who can provide deep expertise and analysis,” said David Plouffe. “Millions of Americans are following every twist and turn of this race—I’d like to help them navigate it a bit better, and am glad to do so with Cadence13.”

“Few people have had the proximity to presidential politics in leading and developing successful strategies to win the White House on the level of David Plouffe,” said Chris Corcoran, Chief Content Officer, Cadence13. “We are honored to have his voice and expertise to shed light on the inner workings of the campaigns in the lead-up to one of the most important Presidential elections in history.”
